Finally after several years, we see how the game will mainly go. Find out if it’s good enough for you to “prey” to get the game.

Introduction

          Looking at the game Prey, we were interested of the game, not excited, but interested. This game does use the modified Doom 3 engine, and by looking a bit at the game, my expectations went way higher. It was several years ago, when we found out that Prey would come out. During those years, the game went through a lot of changes. Now, they have made most of their changes, and we get to see how the game will mainly look like.

Prey has some amazing graphics.

How cool is the game?

In this game, the character you play is an American Native named Tommy. He decides to return to his home village, but is not very hyped about it. Little did he know, was that the worse came. The whole town, and him got abducted by aliens. And even worse, the aliens are all Doom 3 like, so you know they’re not peaceful. The game is one of those “Kill now, ask questions later” type of game. Total kill`em all - rulezzz!

         After the introduction, we saw that Tommy just moved around from room to room, shooting all of the aliens that are spawning around of him. There are some cool things about the game though. In the different locations around the map, we found that there are these transportation portals. These allow Tommy to transport in different areas. But, even though he goes through these portals, there were still enemies following them, so that makes the game quite a bit better.

          The game Prey has its own special things – game features. There are these things called gravity paths. What this enables you to do is that you can walk anywhere. One time, you’ll walk in the floor, but next thing you know, you’re walking on the roof. Also, to make it better or worse, all depends on you. Is that the enemies will walk anywhere you will as well. So you never know when one will still follow you. And you must be ready to unusual mode of the death.

         Looking at the demo, we saw impressive graphics, great gameplay, and some scary stuff going on. You can tell that even though it’s a big similarity with the graphics and gameplay of Doom 3, the game is very original, and you tell that it’s going to be a good game.
