This game is a good racing game, but it's better to get burnout.

Wrecked!

       The Good: Destructible environments. Crashing in the stunts is very fun, and then nudge out of no where on the ground. Lots of tracks for you to play on. Derby mode is quite fun. The Bad: The handling sucks. Soundtrack sucks and they keep playing the same song. Ah yes, the previous flatout game. All of the driving, crashes, people flying out, and you can't forget about the crashing. Well, part 2 came out. So that means more driving, crashing, people flying out and crashing. They have added some new cool features, and I did have some fun with the game. There are some bad stuff along the way though.

       This game is a good racing game, but it's better to get burnout. Well, there is not much to say about the game. You have a career mode, obviously, and there are three classes for you to do. The derby, street, and race classes. These 3 classes are exactly the same except for one thing, the cars. You start out in the derby race, using the ghetto cars that you will find in the destruction derby games. This is how career mode works. You do a tournament, which is an amount of races, mostly 3, sometimes 5, you get the picture. You can play the game in different styles.

       My personal style is to just get the race overwith as fast as I can. This does put you in 1st place, and an extra 100 credits for doing the fastest lap, but then you realize, these losers get 500 credits just for smashing against other people. So, you can either be first and get an extra 100 credits, or be last but get the rest of the bonus credits. If you happen to be first in the game, you get a treat. There is an extra event that you can do. It will either be a stunt, or a demolition derby competition. Which I will explain in some other paragraph in this review. The credits that you will receive will be used for either buying more cars, or purchasing upgrades. In my opinion, purchasing upgrades is a huge waste of credits. If you do upgrade the speed, you will notice a slight difference, so you might use that, but for any handling upgrades that I bought, I didn't see any difference, so you will be better off buying another car.

The stunts

      The interface of the game is good, and bad. The controls of the game are great, and are very easy to memorize and get used to, but the handling does suck. Sadly, they have the same situation as the last part.

       The handling is very loose, and you will find it very frustrating for a while. The good thing is, you do get used to it though, so that is quite good. One good feature of the game is that you finally challenge some named competitors.

       For the whole game, and at all 3 classes, and all 3 events, you are going to play against 7 other competitors. You won't know who is who for a while, but then after you play for a bit, you will know who is who, and you will fun killing all of them. In the loading screens, you see a small bio of some of them describing their personality, but that doesn't matter at all, all you know is who is better then whom, and what which event.

       Also, the competitors do get vengeful. If you keep wrecking someone, they will keep attacking you, and make sure that you're dead, and dead last place. Now let's talk about the two events that you will play. My personal favor rite is the stunt mode. You know when you do a really big crash and the person flies out? Now you will use your advantage for that. There are 12 stunts that you are able to do. They are high jump, bowling, ski jump, curling, stone skipping, ring of fire, field goal, royal flush, basketball, darts, baseball, soccer. Now, to get more words on my review, I will explain all 12 of the stunts.
