A lot of time has passed already, and now someone remembers a series of games System Shock, two games which have established a rod of quality for all genres FPS and, in any sense, for survival horror. Bioshock represents original continuation System Shock, inherited an atmosphere and quality of game. For the clear reasons, the output Bioshock was expected with impatience. 2K Games has shown this product behind the closed doors on last E3, and if under the demo-version it is possible about something to judge, the final product should become a masterpiece and new legend.
The action of game occurs in underwater district under the name Rapture, not named organization, created in 40 years, and looks similarly. The shops, halls and corridors are made out in one brightly expressed style, appreciably reminding unforgettable stylistics of a series Fallout. A mission of the player is simply: survive.
On corridors the strange mutants wander. Also it is necessary to be beaten off as from the people which have lost mind, and from the systems, which have left from under the control, of safety of city.
City too will tell the word. In its waters the creations under the name " the small sisters ", representing small girls - corpses in aprons assembling a biomaterial from fresh corpses have arisen. They are protected by the healthy people in old-fashioned underwater costumes called " the large daddy ". These groups collect a biomaterial to transform it into "atom", local currency, which is accepted by various trade automatic devices.

Also, as System Shock 2, Bioshock is not only and not so much FPS, how many non-standard quests with battle episodes. The bullet in game is not at each corner, and even if you have supplied yourselves with a minimum of ammunition, it yet all. They, similarly previous games of a series, meet of a various type: the powerful bullets will help quickly to understand with the mechanical opponents, while against mutants will be useful usual.
As against System Shock 2, Bioshock offers to the player more opportunities, wider choice of actions. In any situation the player can act, as he likes - to pass by the opponents without more fight, to use means or simply silently to stand behind a corner and to wait, than all will be terminated. Also special system called "plasmid" is accessible to the player.
"Plasmid" is, probably, the most interesting component of game. These systems can be found in various areas of the game world and to establish through special automatic devices. At the demo-version there were two abilities - acceleration giving to the player an opportunity to slip even by sentry guns, and cloud special pheromones, causing aggressive reaction of mutants. The dispersion of pheromones on neutral essences allows avoiding an attack of mutants on the player.
The game is at an early stage of development, but already looks is more tremendous. The studio Irrational uses to the diagram of new generation and physical Havok 3.0 - and prepares for the players visually stunning, deep and rather interactive world. See it we can not earlier than next year, but our expectation should to the full be paid back, when the developers from Irrational will finish the creation.
